HL Livia and her family thank you for all the prayers and good thoughts.  Logan has been kept sedated and on a ventilator to take the stress off his body and let the swelling inside his skull go down.  He has improved to the point that there is a good chance the doctors will let him wake up and get off the machine today.  He had surgery yesterday to put his leg bones back together, but the surgeon says he is in excellent shape and the bones will knit quickly and cleanly.
 
The driver who hit him initially left the scene, but came back before the police had left the site and turned himself in.  He has been charged with leaving the scene of an accident.
