If you remember Lady Idana Astrid, mka Kathleen "Kat" Millard-Gehringer, you may or may not know that she has been battling cancer for the last decade and a half.  She has been Stage 4 over four years now, much longer than her doctors expected; Ansteorran women are tenacious fighters.  The battle, however, is drawing toward the final stand, and Lady Idana has been placed on hospice.  This feisty woman we have known will go out still fighting and brandishing her unique wit and optimism.  Please keep her and her husband, Lord Brian, mka Nick Gehringer, in your prayers.
