[Northkeep] Activity List October 3rd-October 9th

 Masks are currently required for all meetings and activities, both indoor
and out. We are also limited to 25 persons for indoor gatherings, and youth
activities are on hold. The new Board of Directors Policy doesn't go into
effect until October 15, 2021.

As always, be sure to check for cancellations before heading out! Updates
will be sent to this email list, and posted on Northkeep's Facebook Page.

Sunday October 3rd.  Archery Practice is from 3:00pm to 5:00pm at the City
of Coweta Archery Park (35079 E 151st St South Coweta, OK).  *Masks are
required.* Bring a chair and some water! Let Jehanne know if you will need
any loaner equipment, jehanne14th at gmail.com.

Monday October 4th. A&S Night - Silk Banner Painting, 7pm at  Martin
Regional Library (2601 S. Garnett Rd, Tulsa, OK 74129) in the Auditorium. Lady
Venora Odavorreanne (aka Mar) from Atenveldt is in town, and will coach us
through some silk banner painting!
Class list:
Silk - Lady Elena will have 12"x12" squares of silk available for $3/each
Pencils - provided
Images printed out to size - some provided, or you can bring your own!
Binder clips - provided
Rubber bands - provided
Frames cut to size (either pvc or wooden) if wooden need nails and hammer
for attaching silk.
Paint brushes -provided
Dye - red, orange, yellow, blue, green, purple, black, and white provided
Black acrylic paint - provided
This event is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Barony of
Northkeep, the Tulsa, OK chapter of the Society for Creative Anachronism,
an international non-profit volunteer educational organization.

Library. The Library neither sponsors nor endorses this event, the
speaker(s) or the organization.**

Tuesday, October 5th. Joint Fighter Practice at 7pm at the Riverside Park
at the southwest corner of 96th St. and Riverside Drive.  Masks are
required. Please bring your own water! Loaner gear is limited, please
contact the appropriate marshal prior to practice if you need loaner gear.

Wednesday, October 6th. Joint Fighter Practice at 6:30pm at Turkey Mountain
Park (6800 S. Elwood Ave). We will meet within sight of the parking lot,
you can't miss us! Masks are required. Please bring your own water! Loaner
gear is limited, please contact the appropriate marshal prior to practice
if you need loaner gear.

Saturday & Sunday, October 9th & 10th -Heavener Runestone Viking Festival
demo - Heavener Runestone Park, 18365 Runestone Rd., Heavener, OK 74937.

Step back into time where Vikings come from distant lands to roam the
mountains and lush forests of Heavener Oklahoma.
The Canton of Wyldewode will provide a pavilion for a static display of A&S
items. A list field and marshals will be available to demonstrate combat
skills.
Come enjoy yourself while supporting the park. All general public parking
will be off-site at the Heavener High School located at the intersection of
East Avenue G and East 4th Street. There will be free handicap accessible
shuttles both days. Cars can be driven into the park for loading and
unloading.
Ticket prices for the public are $6 for kids and $8 for adults, children
age 5 and under are free. To ensure that all participants in the
demonstration receive park wristbands at no cost pre-registration with HL
Cicily Bridges (seneschal at wyldewode.ansteorra.org) is requested.
Limited camping spots are available on Friday and Saturday, please contact
HL Cicily Bridges (Shirley Hackworth) to reserve a spot if you would like
to camp.
