Hello SCAdians! I need your help.
The Maker Faire Demo is in three weeks (August 24th) and we need volunteers
to show off our wonderful Dream. I’ll be running the demo along with
Northkeep’s new Chatelaine Gelis (Vickie Barbou

We need folks to display all manner of arts and sciences, as well as
someone to discuss our martial activities.
I’m getting in touch with the Maker Faire staff to confirm our booth size,
but I’m almost positive that will be the same as last year. Last year I did
not limit our numbers: I have a big heart and I didn’t want to say no to
anyone, and we were overcrowded. With that in mind, I’m going to ask you to
sign up for one shift: Either 9 AM - 1 PM or 1 PM to 6 PM. If you have a
skill to demonstrate (pewter casting, spinning wheels, etc.) I would invite
you to sign up for a morning and evening shift. As we get closer to the
demo day, I will put a call out if we need more variety or more volunteers.
Regardless of whether or not you are volunteering with Northkeep, go to the
Maker Faire! You know your friends will be there, and it’s free to attend.
