[Northkeep] Dionadar and Ensign Tourney’s

[Baron of Northkeep]

Greetings!

To say that today’s Dionadair and Ensign Baronial Champions Tournaments was
a day full of awesome, is the height of understatements! The weather could
barely have been better. Plenty of Our populace members came early enough
to make site set-up a breeze. The Ensign Rapier tourney was a “Swiss-Six”,
with Don Facon (Jon Powell) coming out on top. Next, we had our
Children/Youth Rapier tourney’s with Daisy of Northkeep winning the
Children’s Tourney, and Gwendolyn Fezziksdottir winning the Youth Tourney.
Lastly, the Dionadair Tourney featured a select group of fighters. And, in
what was certainly the surprise of the day, Pia (Daniele England) Allegri
emerged victorious in a best 3 of 5 Final! With a couple of stellar face
thrusts to win crucial points, by the way! I couldn’t be prouder of my new
Dionadair and Baron’s Champion! In closing, a huge thank you to William
O’Harra, John York and Ron Eddington for leading the efficient teardown of
Site and loading of the trailer. Also, to Kathy Powell, Mary Odinsdittirand
Bridgette York for the set up and break down the dining area. Well done
