Hello, Always glad to meet a fellow Armorer. My name is Kenneth McKenzie and I have a site being developed for McKenzie Armory. www.bujutsu.com/armory. If your looking for links, I can give you quite a bit of data in that I have rooted out every source I can find on the net, and elsewhere, and done a coparative price study. Also, I have ordered sampleas from several of these and can tell you if you would even want their rings. Of course the cheapest rings are if you make them yourself. As the old saying goes give a man a fish ... I can show you a simple rig and some sources for wire other than galvanized. At any rate, if you are interested in the data let me know. I took my son to a class on making >chain mail, and was told that I could purchase the rings with which >to make the chain mail at any welding supply store. I have been >unable to find any. Does anyone out there know where I can get the >rings? I don't know where to buy them. In the olden days we made them out of wire wrapped around a dowel. Then we clipped them off the dowel and knitted them together with a pair of pliers.
