Row, originally conceived for Meridian Kingdom Arts and<BR>>Sciences Fair
five years ago, is a place for artisans to come<BR>>together, to teach
through example. Who likes sitting through a one-<BR>>hour class on how
to do something, without actually being able to do<BR>>the
thing?<BR>><BR>>This year, we will have Jewelers and Glass Bead Makers,
Wood Wrights<BR>>and Woodworkers, Spinners, Dyers, and Weavers, Brewers and
Cooks, and<BR>>much more.<BR>><BR>>If you are interested in a subject,
Artisan's Row affords you the<BR>>opportunity to actually spend time,
watching and learning from<BR>>someone who has done the research and is
putting that research into<BR>>practice. For a small fee, many of our
Artisans will give you the<BR>>opportunity to use their tools and equipment
to learn how to make<BR>>something, as they would have done it in the Middle
Ages. Want to<BR>>learn a substitute for soapstone, to be able to cast
period-style<BR>>Pilgrim Badges for event tokens? Want to learn how to
put together a<BR>>period 6-board box and then learn how to carve on that
box? How<BR>>about naturally dying your own wool, to spin and weave
with? Visit<BR>>Artisan's Row for all of this.<BR>><BR>>If you are an
Artisan, Artisan's Row gives you the opportunity to<BR>>show your research
and put it into practice for an audience who<BR>>appreciates your hard work,
and wants to learn from it. Artisan's<BR>>Row is an excellent
