at a recent totally miserable event (wet & cold) we were talking
about foul weather gear and some decided that making suitably
designed oilskin cloaks (and/or coats & leggings) might be worth
trying out ... anyone got any domestic (US) sources for the fabric
???

note: we do not care weather it's a "documentable" / authentic thing
.. it seemed a practical blending of proven material and old design
that bears exploration
