[Periodencampments] Howdy

Hi,

I actually was planning on creating a short term email list to coordinate
the rather popular response I had on having a period camp spit
made and then I came across this.

I'm not sure how busy this list is but I thought I'd look in.

Both my lady and I are very interested in building up as period a
campsite as possible. After years of being rather embarassingly
mundane I now have the opportunity to clean up my act.

As of last Gulf Wars we now have a multi-colored 16'x 16' Regent
pavillion, canopy, wooden table and chairs, basic camp spit/tripod,
rope bed, grills and torches.

At World Market this weekend we found a terrific ice chest that
is a true, commercial ice chest but is covered with a wooden
chest. It's slightly modern looking but a heck of a lot less so than
most.

There is still a ways to go, but it's a start.

So, I hope this is an active list because we are very interested in any
help we can get to make things better.
