Here, once again, is the document that outlines what is acceptable practice
at our event site. We would certainly appreciate everyone's adherence to
these standards. (Keeps the owners happy!)

Please have two copies signed, one for me and one for thee, I'll sign your

Thanks to you all for helping make the Stones of Raven's Fort the prettiest

Guidelines and Agreement
for Maintaining a Perpetual Campsite at the
Stones of Raven's Fort.

1. To establish a Perpetual Campsite ask the Land Agent, Sir Kief (Lee
Cockerham) to assist you in finding an unused space.

2. Mark the perimeters or corners of your camp with one of the following:
Treated posts, pipe, large stones, or any other non-obtrusive, non-modern
object. Paint your livery colors on these markers. Markers must be at least
32 inches tall. Use as few markers as possible, placed as near to trees as
possible. (For ease of mowing and insect spraying.)

3. No nails, bolts, hooks, et cetera, are allowed in any tree.

4. No cutting of live trees or living limbs on trees without express
permission from the Land Agent.

5. No permanent fences that interfere with mowing and insect spraying. The
use of untreated wood and ground level barriers are not allowed.

6. All structures in camps must be portable.

7. All trash MUST BE REMOVED AT THE END OF EACH EVENT by the signatory or
their designate. This includes cigarette butts, broken equipment, "dead"
tents, general garbage, et cetera. Not removing trash after each camp
use/event is grounds for revocation of Perpetual Campsite privileges.

8. All chairs, tables, garbage cans, et cetera, must be stacked neatly and
secured to prevent the weather and the cattle from scattering them about.
The preferred stowage spot is on, or immediately next to, your wood pile.
(Again, this is for ease of mowing and spraying.)

9. All camps are to be maintained i.e., mowed, raked, and cleared of
dead-fall, a minimum of once per year. It is strongly suggested that each
campsite “elect” maintenance personal to facilitate these duties.

10. In dry weather NO fires are permitted without permission of the Land
Agent.

11. (This is at owner's request, please comply.) NO fire-pits are allowed.
Fires on the surface, fire-mounds, fire-rings, and enclosed fireplaces are
allowed. Fire-rings and enclosed fireplaces must be movable. If there is a
hole or pit in your camp...fill it in. (Tractors, cattle, and holes don't
mix well...)

12. Absolutely NO cans, bottles, or other non-combustibles are to be put in
fires. Do NOT burn plastics or other objects that produce toxic smoke.

13. Excessively large fires in camp are not allowed. Excessive means a
stack of firewood four feet (4’) in diameter and three feet (3’) high or
larger.

14. A minimum of three feet (4’) of cleared space around fire area, unless
you have an enclosed fireplace.

15. A fire extinguisher or equivalent must be in camp and in plain sight,
if you have a fire. Equivalent means a minimum of a shovel and a large
bucket (minimum 5 gallons) of sand or water.

16. Downed wood may be gleaned anywhere on site. However, the bonfire
stack, the kitchen woodpile, and any camp woodpiles are private use only.

17. All woodpiles must be neatly stacked between two trees or posts on a
rack and off the ground. (Use bricks, concrete blocks, or treated timbers to
elevate your wood pile. This helps discourage snakes, ants, termites, and
rot.)

18. Your camp must be used at least once per year. If not, then you will
lose the privilege of maintaining a Perpetual Campsite.

19. Work weekends will be arranged throughout the year. Contact the Land
Agent, Seneschal, Event Stewards, or Baron and Baroness for dates

20. NO cars or RV's in any campsite after unloading. NO parking around your
camp...period. Exceptions: If the vehicle is covered, camouflaged, or
sufficiently hidden to be unobtrusive, and is your only means of camping.

Failure to follow the rules listed in this Agreement may result in
revocation of Perpetual Campsite privileges

Please note that these Guidelines and Agreement are subject to change and
review.
