RF - Officer's Meeting

Greetings all,

I heard a rumor (I've recently been shown that rumors can be untrue) at
the birthday party this weekend (good job on the party guys, had a great
time) that there has been talk of moving the monthly officer's meeting
to The Woodlands area.  I realize that this is part of an effort to
address the problems that I have shouted about from my soap box lately.
I appreciate the idea, however I don't feel that it would be fair to the
other officers in the Barony.  There is only one other officer that
drives from the southern part of the Barony and she is about to step
down.  I really do not mind the drive.  I have made it for so many years
that my car knows the way without me having to pay attention.  If the
rumor is true, it is a noble gesture, but I would not feel right making
EVERYONE else drive that far.  In reality attendance would probably drop
off too.  I do not want to see that happen.  There has to be another
solution.  Again, thanks for the thought, but we should reconsider.
