Sorry that it has been so long since I have written home.

I finished copying several of the manuscripts that I had found. I then met a
Beer merchant from far to the south. I Traveled by the strangest beasts to
the place he was from, and learned a new brewing style. I have spent the
last few months perfecting it, and drinking it. The brewing style is very
different from our own, but it produces very tasty beer.
Now that I am mostly sober I have returned to Byzanth and I plan on earning
passage to Greece.
