why?if you don't already know how INVOLVED lizardkeep is/was/will be
in everything to do with this barony then you live with your head under a
ROCK!
these two will prolly scream bloody murder when they see this post but..
OUT OUT INTO THE LIGHT OF DAY YOU BEHIND THE SCENES PUPPETMASTERS! well one
of them anyway*grin* and the others a fine example of a man (am i being
confusing again?*EVIL grin*)
ok ok i come to praise caesar not to flame him(her)*warm smile*

Qualification, that's the issue eh?
well two more "qualified persons cannot be found. AND if we MUST sacrifice
some noble hearts to brass poisoning let us choose two who have shown
resistance already.
Zork has been selflessly serving this barony in everyway since befoe it WAS
a barony Gwynn too.
he's a smart, swift. capable problemsolving DYNAMO in a goatee!his wise
counsel guided me through rough waters in my own life(gwynn's too) and he
would do as well for the barony. i also think his influance could bring back
the light fighters to bring back ballance to the fighting community (it's
already started to)we have all heard how well kezia and nick have done for
the barony (TRUE TOO) but do you know who brought them here???? zork i
think..i'm pretty sure from what i remember of it.
and others too... hell every original big hitter in the barony is either a
member of lizardkeep a NOMINAL member or fast friend to them.
the baroness is ONE of them, marius autocraticus maximus is one of them,
(that smarmy smiling guy with the beatnick personality who throws great
events with WHO'S HELP? dave and charlotte's that's who)
even Kief is a nominal lizardkeeper.
i can think of worse things than a brewing baron too!
zork is noble, patient (VERY, kind, smarter than your average bear and most
EXCEPTIONAL ONES TOO! one of the best there is.
just really humble and not the false modesty type crapola so rife in the
world today.
Gwynn heh heh she's already at the center of the baronial web with whomever
is doing WHATever in the barony if it's cool she'll be there
if not she'll keep tabs till it is.(nice knowing you people i'm going to die
now that i've revealed the holy secrets of the spider goddess i think i hear
marius creeping in the bushes outside now, though prolly for the SMARMY
comment before)if there is a big question in this barony charlotte always
has AN answer OR knows someone with THE answer!
it dosen't matter who becomes B&B gwynn will be in there advising
them. so why not cut out the middle man and save time!*smile*
i say enough working behind the scenes let het take credit for her brilliant
ideas! (and by golly they really usually are) she's a great lady and an
asset to our world. (and the feasts would always rock too)
heh heh (vote sigurd or gwynn for good food!)
she's an organizer PAR EXCELLANCE and she knows the sca inside out
there is no period to learn HOW to be a baroness SHE IS ONE!
and i mean that in many ways she was high noblity before she got that metal
hat! in short *grin* she'll have her finger in the soup ANYWAY why not give
her the spoon *SMILE* (SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON charlotte!
inside joke if you understand it your choice should be half made!)
your sure to enjoy the dish when she's done!
lizardkeep has been AT the heart and sometimes WAS the heart of ravensfort
and always will bethey keep a finger on the pulse of the kingdom and the
empire and they even go otherplaces (unlike me*smile*)
but they always remember where they live.

so i've told you people what I think
tossed in my two cents worth.
i've told you who SHOULD be B&B not who WANT'S it
I don'T think most people who WANT power are the kind who should HAVE it.
power corrupts
so you have to start OFF with some pretty good material to begin with
I chose two of the closest to flawless sets of gems we have.
and i've pointed them out to you
show wisdom and find a way to coerce ONE set into taking the burden
of the big chairs.
not for themselves, not for kingdom, not to show them how much we love them,
not for glory or fame, but for US, because WE NEED    THEM!
because THEY are what's best for us, and the best at what they already do.
for US, and for the dream of what it should be like HERE!
where we LIVE, where we PLAY, not a thousand miles away in the north
or even a hundred. but in this place we call OUR OWN! those stones we call
OUR HOME! and make it a place we ALL belong. a better place even than it is
today... and it will be
