ah but that would set me up to seem i was saying that the candidates that i
don't support DON'T have those qualities... and i don't want to say that,
but it could REALLY benifit the barony to use this time and situation to
VOICE our thoughts on these subjects to get them in the open to see if the
way we feel is convergent with the reality.
mebbe the things i feel are untrue, mebbe the feelings of others need
voicing too!       in psycology it's called catharsis(ok i'm not practicing
here but you DO learn SOMETHING in four years)there's a cleansing effect to
it.     lets let some steam out of the pressure cooker eh?

a personal focus on THE BARONY rather than to be a "kings man." as marius
put it. i don't freaking WANT a KINGS man on my big chair
i want him to be MY Baron First, and Kings man second. this may seem off
base but that's what i always felt with Kief! i felt he cared about US
first. and i ain't felt that in a while.

that IS the most important issue in my mind, as well as there needs to be
more focus on the other NON heavey fighter aspects of the SCA
I'm SICK TO DEATH of stick jocks who think"if your not one of US you a
cowardly sh** or something. i've been critisised hugely for my intent to
make my armour and take up heavy fighting with the express purpose of
beating the SH** out of some of the heavy comunity in the barony
and SCA because they talk noise and won't step up on a street corner.
*and Joy dosen't want me to go to jail for assalt and battery*
but i'd like to see this ARTSAN of the SEASON? sorry but i feel it's a lame
duck thing beefed up     why is there such a focus on fighters?
the ravens talon is NOT the same as artisan of the fort. why not just make
it the yearly defender prize title for artisans.    but NOOOOO
chrystal (I FEEL) broke her word to the barony when she pledged to me that
the barony was working on an award of merit for arts and sciences
that would be equal too the talon and the ravens heart! IT IS NOT!
IT'S EQUAL TO THE FRIGGIN RAVENSKALD AND THE DEFENDER OF THE FORT!~
and so i feel that the pledge has NOT been fullfilled. and the arts and
sciences are still waiting for recognition.... the feather idea
WAS originaly an idea FOR arts and sciences.   and WAS STOLEN FOR THE
SERVICE MUKITIES so the RAVENSHEARTS could all go, here this was a good job
so and so. well we didn't NEED ANOTHER SERVICE AWARD TO MAKE THE
RAVENSHEARTS SEEM GENEROUS! now DID WE!?!?
well i think i'll leave off there ......except to say what we NEED around
here IS SOME FRIGGIN EQUALITY in RESPECT given to the differant TYPES of
activity in the SCA. heavy fighters who think they're better than light
fighters because they have heavier armour would be up a S*** creek with out
a paddle if those rapiers had a POINT to thrust through those GAPS in that
armour. and it would be easier to do because of less encumbering weight! and
why the artisans even try is beyond me some times.    "hey you who i treat
as beneath me because your not a swaggering brute in all this manly HOTASS
armour showing your ASS to everyone at the campfire because you can't
protect your flanks and want to show the bruise to prove it! i WANT YOU TO
use your SKILLS to produce some ABSOLUTLY AWESOME artifacts at cost of time
and money and then i expect you to DONATE IT as a PRIZE for someone else
like ME! oh and i'm barely going to show it except at NIGHT in the freakin
DARK at court where we'll give it away and MAYBE remember to say YOUR NAME
if anyone knows who YOU ARE so maybe someone will figure out SOMEDAY that
YOU are a person of EXCEPTIONAL talent!
(oh did i forget that this emaginary person was talking to a specific real
PERSON: RACHEL! i've been watching that young lady become a badass artisan
and getting dissed all over the place. so she's a little annoying at times I
HAD HER IN MY ABNORMAL PSYCH CLASS and she made me want to scream at times
(and laugh at others) but her talent and dedication are UNQUESTIONED.)AND
SHE's still over looked i THINK!

the above addressed to my satisfaction (hey you asked*smile*)

oh and the return of the assassins guild AND ANOTHER REP for it along with
marius !!!! i'm sick of his monopoly! and so are the assassins
we don't want him GONE we just think there is room for other HOUSES to play
that side of the game. and we want to host black white and sorta grey type
events too. since he dosen't want to play it eccept when HE feels like it.
  why should all assassins in the freaking  KINGDOM
be able to play ONLY when sactioned by him?
WROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOONG!    it's not even period!

local comunity envolvement i want a FLOAT IN THE SEASONAL PARADES!
i want demo's at OUR library not someone elses. i want to see the SCA quit
hiding because their leadrers are wiccans and pagans afraid that the fundies
will embarass them in church on sunday.
AND i's like to see events at alternate locations to the stones
(state park) WATER WATER WATER!!!!! camping cabins! BOATS!
nothing would tickle me more than to have an event at the state park!
it's a dream i've had ever since my first canoe ride on raven lake.
AND GODDAMN IT HOW CAN OTHER PLACES DO IT AND WE CAN'T????
Answer: there IS no reason we can't.

too true! toooo true! how can they give us someone that will give us what we
want.  if they don't KNOW what it is we want.
coming from somewhee else they may have differant priorities...
differant expectations of what a barony needs. because BARONIES ARE
differant. as the people IN them are.

and you do it OUT FRONT!  in the OPEN    their ain't enough of THAT going ON
either.    i'll be damned if i'll vote for another person who
won't just come out in public and speak their mind!
that's a BAD character trait in a person.
it's a sign of a deceitful nature!   under the table = hidden = bad
