What you are not understanding is that the Baron/ess in fief in a group
is the King's man...they are there to make sure that the Group gets the
recognition it deserves and to represent the crown here and the group
at outside events...

No matter what I think of David and Chrystal...if you think that they
have not held the Barony first in their hearts and actions in what they've

I have no doubt that all of the people who will be candidates will also
do their damndest for the Barony

SCA fighting is for sport, and to add a marshal component...
not to hurt people...

anyone who goes out on the field upset with intent to harm is not
doing it for the right reason...

Chrystal and David developed the award in the way they did in an effort
to encourage the artisans in a way that a single award would not.

Donating things is a way to support your group. It also is a format to show
what you can do....It's your choice...

She's doing okay...and people have noticed...but it is not your choice
or hers who gets awards...the crown gives awards.....
and apparantly no one has written in that has given enough information
for them to decide she is worthy of one...

The assassin's guild is not part of the running of the Barony...

without getting people hurt, or interrupting the rest of the people...

Where were you when Kezia and Brian and Kief tried to get us to do these
things and did not get enough support to do them...

Because it is easier to use the stones because it is inexpensive
and readily available...

we have been trying to get people to go and look for sites that are
reasonable...have you priced any of these things lately?
