My dear Excellency Brian du Val;

POE humor is better than NO humor and judging from the posting I've seen for these last 10+ days...no one has any left!

What gives people?  We all know there are quality/qualified people to BECOME (I don't say replace because, well, how can we replace DSD and Chrystal???) the New B&B without Broiling them in Butter? We all know who plays the politics, we all know who the MOST obsequious (big word for A** kissers but oh, so true!) are and we all know who has worked their tushes off so that we ALL might enjoy The Dream and not let it be an exclusive club for only a few chosen.  We all know there are people that SEEM to be licking boots but if you consider where their hearts are, maybe he/she is still qualified.  The remark about Ld Nikolas was a bit harsh, I know it seems he's always politi-king but his heart is in the right place.  He's just trying to make it enjoyable for the rest of us.  We must all admit that there are a very few that do ALL the work so that the rest of us might have hassle-free event experiences.  As for Kief and "what a woman Jane"  that's a rather personal subject and shoul
d not be fodder for the list.  That's between them and any other "involved" party.  Of course, my very personal opinion, I don't think an "intimate relationship" necessarily qualifies any COUPLE for B&B.  Yes, it might be nice if THEY were already involved, married, joined, whatever but does that really qualify them?  Like I said, let's get to the heart of the matter...and of the candidate(s).

Lets clear our minds and get serious here.  Lord Ragan had a valid point...if we don't band together on this, someone else shall be NAMED to rule instead of CHOSEN by the villains (that's US, folks) that will be ruled.  Although we are the SCA, we do have the enviable position of exsisting in modern times...our B&B aren't our rulers due to blood, birth or war, it's love and respect.  So, lets show some for each other and make this IMPORTANT decision...not their RM's or anyone else.
