Greetings!

Do you plan to camp at this event and/or will you on site by 8 a.m.?  My
backup troll person is thinking of taking on head waterbearer
responsibilites, and I really need someone between 8 and 10 or 10 and noon.
If you are available for one of these times I would truly appreciate it.

Speaking of first events, the first out of barony event I attended was a TRF
work weekend five years ago.  I was from Bryn Gwlad at the time, and our
music guild decided to come down and play at the TRF booth on the weekend of
Crown Tourney (that being one of the hardest weekends to man the booth).  I
didn't travel with the rest of my group and was unfamiliar with the area.  I
was very shy at the time and quite afraid of "strangers." I arrived lost,
shy, nervous, a little scared and quite skittish.  You were the autocrat
that weekend.  You showed me where to go, what to do, how things worked, and
made me feel at home.  You even found time to check on me and drew me out
when I took to hiding in the corner.  That event/not-event shines brightly
in my memory for many reasons, Avatar's music, Mouse's hospitality, and your
kindness.  THANK YOU!  You helped give me the courage to travel outside my
barony and meet other "strangers" who are now dear friends.  You helped me
realize that, while I might not know a soul, I would always find a home in
the SCA.  THANK YOU!
