Ravensfort Attends Coronation



On July 14th eight members of The Barony of Ravensfort traveled to Gatesville, TX to attend the Coronation of HRM Patrick Michael and HRM Julia as the newest King and Queen of Ansteorra. HE Niklas, HE Kezia, Sir Kief, Mistress Lorraine, Isobail, Lord Plachoya, Lady Julainna, and Lord Marius all endured the heat, rain, and malfunctioning air conditioning to enjoy this event.



During HRM Arron and Britta’s final court Count Sir Simon of Amber was made a Pelican, Sir Erasmus Totengraber became Ansteorra’s newest Knight, and Master Lucais du Belier became a Lion.



As everyone enjoyed a wonderful feast, and the rain continued to cool off the area, one of our own was honored.  Lord Plachoya was made the newest member of The Order of Arcus Majoris.



The Barony presented two banner stands (in the shape of the Ansteorra Star) and poles to their HRM Patrick Michael and HRM Julia to become part of the crown’s regalia.  Lord Balda built the metal stands, and HE Niklas customized the poles to fit the bases.    In addition Ravensfort also presented a gift basket that contained items created by members of the barony, gift bags from Mistress Lorraine, bath salts made by Mary of Axefoot, and blackwork mug covers done by Isobail were just a few of the items included. The crown was very appreciative of these very useful gifts.
