Greeting one and all,

It was a glorious pilgrimage to the Great Court of Khan. There were many
Merchants, fine Horses, and great Competitions. The weather was a bit hot
with a nice breeze but all in all, it was tolerable.

I have to say that Lady Tabitha Baker and Lord Marion de Muse(sp) set up the
most beautiful list pavilion that was there !! It was Asian in style with
many wonderful decorations.

In the Archery competition, Darroch of Skye and Marion de Muse were head to
head tying in score and Shula and I tied as well. Of course there were many
other greater scores with Plachoya winning the competition.

In the Axe, Knife and Spear throw competition, Marion, Darroch, Caitlin
Leggett, Ashlin from Bjornsburg, Owen(?) and I competed amongst many
others. Owens skills were exceptional to say the least as well as Marion's
practice throws throughout the competition. Darroch displayed a special
technique of spear throwing and Marion actually hit a bulls eye but alas, it
was a warm up shot. In the end competition, it was won out by other
competitors. This type of competition was my first and although I think I
did fairly well, I need lot's of practice. I now have the fever of throwing
knifes and plan on acquiring a set of my own, along with trying out the meat
clever too. <whoa, watch out!>

Shula entered the Brewing competition, which I had first hand to sample as
well as many others. Her mead was quite delectable (my favorite) and her
'Thick-as-a-Brick Ale was quite good too. The judges were quite impressed
as well, for she won the competition hands down. Congratulations to the new
Ravensfort's Brewing Champion !!! (SHE GOT LOTS OF PRESENTS to brew with).

The Brick House put on a potluck meal, with Tabitha's delicious pottage,
Shula's wonderful stuffed grape leaves, and much, much more. I was truly
surprised by the intro of my birthday cake for desert ! I especially liked
my candles that were green champagne bottles !!

Later after feast and court, there was drumming and singing late into the
night at various campsite through out.

The pilgrimage was truly eventful,
see all ya'll next event !
