I would take that bet. I'd feel fairly safe in taking it, too, since
I know of two people who Ragan has 'scared off' in some way. I know
of eleven, now, that have been chased off by the populace at large.
Two of those were by me, and since I'm likely to get harassed if I
name the person single-handedly responsible for half of the others, I
won't.

That doesn't hurt me at all, and it is true from what I can tell.
Ragan, as an individual, is easily one of the best known things about
Raven's Fort, along with several other things, which since they aren't
pleasant, would likely get me harassed, I won't list them. Oddly,
when people mention the 'other things,' they are usually asking what's
wrong with Raven's Fort, and are very concerned and unhappy. Most of
the time someone brings up Ragan... well, okay, about two-thirds of
the time... they're smiling and asking what's up with _him_. While he
might not like how often he has been the butt of jokes, he has been
known to be happy at being a source of amusement.

>Enough is enough. Ragan is no longer welcome in Cadhla camp.
>Period. I don't ever care to exchange words with him again.

As a knight, you would be one of the people in a leadership position.
Your solution for everything that ails Raven's Fort is to ignore all
of the problems that Ragan has mentioned and blame Ragan? I'll admit
that, in the past, I have been eager to lay the blame on certain
people, but that didn't stop me from wanting to discuss the problems
with those same people. They may not have been happy with me for
doing so, or for how I chose to do so, but since they were the ones
'in charge,' I came to them for information and advice. This was a
mistake because that, apparently, wasn't how they thought things
should be done. So, I was also singled out as a problem person,
nevermind that the problems existed before I spoke out.

The method I used to handle things was so inappropriate that
reasonably worded questions and possible ways of handling things went
largely (but not completely, bow to Jacinth) ignored. My methods were
so deplorable that I had to find out later from someone else (bow to
Kief) that some of what I'd suggested was even considered, much less
used because anytime I brought them up I was insulted, assaulted, or
berated.

In Raven's Fort, causing problems is not a crime. Trying to talk
about them, much less fix them, is.

Since the last things written were unpleasant, I suppose I should
await harassment, now. Please send it to this address privately and
not the list. aedh_finn at ev1.net

I gave up caring about credit or blame some time ago. Granted, there
are some people I'd prefer not to deal with, and publicly and for the
_last_ time, I will say that Niklas/Paul is NOT one of them. I just
want to see the problems, the _right_ problems, not the problem
people, taken care of.

It's easier to point at someone like Ragan and blame them for
everything, but I don't think he's responsible for chasing off the
FIVE potential assets to Raven's Fort that he managed to get to come
to the event. If this is about more personal issues than how Raven's
Fort treats its newcomers, then it really didn't have a place on this
list, like the end of the post that Ragan got warned for. Like a lot
of my last post to the list.

I still don't want to be part of the problem, but I care too much to
just turn my back on Raven's Fort completely. I've seen some good
things happen since the Baronial switch over. At the time of the
switch over I was told that any good that happened would be attributed
to the populace of Raven's Fort and not just the leaders, but I don't
think it would be fair for that to happen because all of the old
problems still seem to be around--the old methods of dealing with
people and problems. Unless those are dealt with, few, if any, of the
good things that have happened while Niklas and Kezia have been Baron
and Baroness will survive long after their stepping down.
