[Ravensfort] Site work "To Do" list

This has not been updated this year.  If anything
needs to be added or removed, please let me know.

Any of these projects can be worked on this weekend.

Break it down into major areas:
1.	Stones
2.	Buildings
3.	Grounds
4.	Roads
5.	Equipment
6.	Administrative
7.	Major long term projects

Further break down:
1.	Stones:
A.	clean
B.	re-set
C.	do grounds work in the area
D.	replace the missing stone at the end of the west
ley-line

2.	Buildings
A. Check for structural damage
B. Paint as necessary
C. Finish the:
1.Kitchen
a.	counter weights for doors
b.	steps/porches for doors
2.  Water tower
a.	enclose frame to increase storage space
b.	make "roof" water proof (plastic or metal sheet or
silicon caulk)
3.	Changing room
a.	doors or curtains for privacy
4.	Expand the storeroom
a.	remove movable floor and replace with actual fixed
floor
b.	enclose the current lean-to
5.	Build lean-to on opposite side of storeroom (**Or
buy a steel or aluminum "freight container" 8'x8'x20'
and solve storage and security issues)
6.	Showers
a.	R&R (remove &replace) floors and clean out weeds
and vines
c.	perhaps roof over (removable?) and find larger
containers for the H2O
d.	make sure the curtains are serviceable
e.	check hoses and shower heads
3. Grounds
A.	Saw up all downed timber
B.	Transport pine to bonfire
C.	Hardwood to kitchen **(Give some of the hardwood to
the folks that help cut and transport)
D.	R&R rotten/broken posts
E.	Open up some new camping areas (optional)
F.	Cut wild citrus and other brush *way* back from the
entry road
G.	Trim trees of dead limbs
H.	Clear away deadfall under trees
I.	Check wash area (on the way to the stones) to see
if added fill is needed
J.	Search out and evaluate fire ant problem areas
K.	Clear out persimmon trees/shrubs from equestrian
area
L.	Reset list field poles as needed
M.	Clean around the buildings and restack equipment in
the outside storage area
N.	Move and dismantle old privies
O.	Fill in any holes at old privy sites
4. Roads:
A.	Check for washouts and ruts
B.	Add more rock to "new" culvert area
C.	Fill "mud hole areas"
D.	Figure out way to delineate roads to and through
camping areas
E.	Move posts in "parking area" to increase size of
area
F.	Check cattle guard for breakage and for any needed
silt removal
G.	Clear ends of culverts (outside front gate, road
in, and new) for positive H2O flow
5. Equipment:
A.	Check H2O pump (replace? - have seen a better one
recently)
B.	Tent repair
C.	R&R broken hardware on large tent poles
D.	Inventory all on-site equipment
E.	Consider replacement of swing set (other "period"
playground equipment?)
F.	Check dais for damage
G.	Repaint and relocate "Stones" welcome sign

7.	Administrative:
A.	Review all campsites for recent occupancy and
compliance with basic guidelines
B.	Need for additional parking areas
C.	"Permanent" placement markers for port-a-cans
(traffic flow and demographic layout of camper
numbers)
D.	Review possible equipment rental/use during for
coming year/projects
1)	Trencher
2)	Backhoe/frontloader
3)	Sprayer
4)	Tractors w/shredders/box blade
5)	Bulldozer
E.	Possible purchases
1)	More barrels for H2O and general use
2)	Smaller H2O tanks for showers
3)	Fire rings/braziers
4)	New H2O pump
5)	Lumber/plywood, paint, insecticide, rock, concrete,
poles, posts, rope, barrier tape, nails, screws, hose,
pipe, hardware, et cetera
