Usually I don’t feel compelled to dignify any of your rants with a response, but I am completely sick of your attempts to hold hostage the Barony I love.

The BOD has made its decision—DEAL WITH IT!! At this point I think my 5th graders at school are acting with MUCH more maturity than you.

If you feel “threatened” at Ravensfort events, then why did you volunteer to sit a gate shift at our February event? [You posted a message with this request on Monday, November 11th] I know hat you did not sit a shift at that event—because the time you requested was already full. To me that demonstrates that you did not feel “threatened.”

Speaking as a Baronial Officer—the Barony’s April event was canceled not because the Barony has degenerated, but for the simple fact that weekend was EASTER weekend. That meant that most of us who ACTUALLY WORK and/or attend our events had mundane related family commitments and would not be able to be there.

If in your mind you truly feel threatened in Ravensfort and/or in the SCA in general there are two very simple solutions. 1. Find a new group to play with or 2. Quit the SCA totally. This is a hobby and hobbies should be safe and fun. When we no longer feel safe or are no longer having fun it is time to move on and find something else to do with spare time.

In Service to my Kingdom and Barony I remain---

Lady Isobail inghean Gilla Chriosd

Reeve, Barony of Ravensfort

Lady-in-Waiting to HE Kezia, Baroness of Ravensfort

Member of the Baronial Guard of Ravensfort
