Hello all,
Well another event past with good and bad results. I am told that many who attended our event enjoyed it rather well. HRM Queen Conal had a grand time and Sir Ulstead said " it was a relaxed day, full of honor, and beauty, and outright joy. Very entertaining for all - the fighters, the Ladies, and even just the casual observers".
I certainly hope all who attended had an equal feeling after the weekend.
To start at the top and work my way down would be a grave injustice to all who helped. Many came to assist when the need was at its most. We would not have had this event with out the help of many members of the Barony. Malcolm and Artorious handled the Gate well and along with Balmotheous helped build the fine Gallery. The Gallery roof covers were not as strong as the wind and needed to be taken down but all sat in the Gallery and enjoyed them selves. The Bardic Competition was long and indeed a Great time was had by the competitors. Thank you Lady Elaine for handeling the Bardic comp. You did a great job and all who listened anjoyed it too.
The Knife, Axe and Spear Comp. Was ran by Lord Alden of Stargate. He assisted Lord Gorm when our schedualed Marshal and to leave for personal resonse. The competiton was a fun onne but hard.
The Archery Competition was very intresting. A Clout Shoot was held and a gental from a local archery organization won the title of Bowman of the Fort. I thank H.L. Plachoya for running such a good target shoot.
lady Isobeul organized our A&S display and it was pretty good. I was unable to attend it but I am sure that Isobeul can share with us the details of sthe comp.
As you know the Equestorian Comp. was cancled. I hope to see the competitioin reschedualded. soon.
I would like to thank the following People for their help and assistance with the event:
Ayla, My lady who put up with all my heart ache and frustration for two months. Baroness Jallalli and Baroness Lorrain for Heralding the court and helping the Gallery on sunday.
Sir Kief for being their with the gallery and a long trailer! Don Zorkon with his skills at walking on 4x4s and setting the uprights. and the use of his trailer!
Many of you helped wih the event and I can not begin to remember all fo your names. But I will try and write them down before populace so that I can share their name with all of you.

                                                            Thank you.

                                                                            Brian
