  'Tis none other than your lovely Lady of the Gate, herself, Annes...with a not so subtle request for you.....yes...***YOU***... to sign up for one of the many open shifts still available. Remember, no event suceeds without the efforts of all of us. So give a little of your time so that all of us can have the fun event we deserve.

  Those who volunteer to sit a shift at gate shall be treated as well as any volunteer sitting gate has ever been treated. I am providing drinks (nonalcoholic kids...after all we are handling money) as in soft drinks and coffee, snacks, fingerfood, music, scantily-clad dancing girls....well, not really....but I bet a couple of you sat up for a moment! I will have insect repellant for those who need it. Bring your handcrafts, bring your songs, bring your stories. I love sitting gate for these very reasons. Entertain me!!! Those who know me and how I sit a gate as head gate know I am there for the duration....so come and help keep me sane, awake, and non grumpy!!!

  Please peruse the following table and email me privately with your shift request. My email is hlannes at ev1.net  I will be checking my email hourly for the floods of shift requests I am sure my tantalizing missive will provoke from the assembled populace!When you write me with your shift request, don't forget to CC the autocrat, reeve and seneschal as per the Gate Policies as listed below the shift list. If you don't know their email addresses, email me anyway and I will forward your shift request to them for you.

  Gate Shift List for Raven's Fort Defender
  September 19 & 20, 2003

   Policy on gate shifts stands as follows:

  1. 2 people per shift
  2. First two people that sign up for a shift get that shift as long as
      one of them is a Raven's Fort member OR a long time trusted friend of
      Raven's Fort .
  3. All e-mail received or sent out concerning this Gate/Event will be
      "CC" to the Autocrat, Reeve, and  Barony Seneschal.

   Please Note: This Policy may be changed by the Autocrat/Seneschal/Baron
  & Baroness. Until or unless it is changed, it will stand until that time.
