[Ravensfort] Work Weekend last week & This weekend

Greetings.....

Last weekend about 20-25 persons were involved in getting the Raven's Fort 
site and other projects ready for the upcoming Defender event.

Things done were....

LOTS of painting!
LOTS of cutting back bushes and trees
Cleaned out the cattle guard for drainage and flow.
Worked on the viewing stand.
Worked on the kitchen.
Picked up trash and made plans as to placement of activities and such.
Chopping down of persimmon trees in the equestrian area.
And some other things that I may not have seen or have forgotten.

The site has grown up pretty good from the rains of June. It will take some 
mowing to knock that down.

The ruts from the rain of crown has been smoothed out by rain and wear, but 
they are still there in some places. They will need some care and so will 
some pot holes in the road.

There will be another work weekend this weekend. Kezia and I will not be 
there as she is coming to Austin to visit me!

Malcom, the event steward, will be posting and coordinating what needs to 
be done this weekend.
