[Ravensfort] Newcomers

Free feast is a good idea. I will also offer up new feast gear, (I have 4 sets to offer up with mugs, forks, spoons, wooden plates, and wooden bowls). And if they would like to hang out and help in the kitchen for a while I will also offer up largess.

No, we no longer have a get in free of any type except for baronial 
champions and crown.

In fact, (I really hate this part as I disagree on how this is handled), 
since they are not members of the SCA, they may have to pay the non-member 
surcharge (NMS). It depends on the their age and such and what rate they 
have to pay at the gate.

How old are they? If they qualify for the full gate rate, then they have to 
pay the NMS of an additional $3 (or at least I think that is the way it 
works, correct me if I am wrong someone). I really don't like doing that, 
but we have no choice and ALL $3 goes to the SCA corporate in Calif. We and 
Kingdom get none of the $3.

Check the Blackstar ad or the ad in the baronial web page for the gate 
rates. I don't have them here with me.

Again, the best perk of all is getting to come out and have a good time.
