Here is a short item for the Quoth.......





Greetings from H.E. Niklas and H.E. Kezia, Baron and Baroness of Raven's Fort.

With great regret, the officers, We and staff of North Sea Raids was forced 
to cancel the event for February due to rain, cold and the soggy condition 
of The Stones site.

This was not done easily or taken lightly and it is hoped that no one was 
too inconvenienced due to the last minute cancelation.

However, The event will go on, but it will be on April 2-4th at the Stones 
and all the original staff and plans are in place and they are moving forward.

Sir Keif, Steward of the event has great and wondrous battles planned 
between the Vikings and the Celts. There will be Archery for Bowman of the 
Fort and Bardic for The Ravens Skald of the Raven's Fort. Mistress Lorraine 
will be cooking up a hearty feast for those in attendance and plans are 
also to have other activities that are not defined at this time, but will 
be detailed as the event draws closer.

There will be work days. Stay tuned for the dates and please come out and 
help prepare the site. Work needs to be done on the BGT (Big Green Tents) 
to repair some rips as well as a few other projects.

Please, enjoy the event, but remember, that this is our event, we are here 
to help others enjoy it and make it part of what we do in the SCA.

Plan well, work well, fight hard and honor will come.
