[Ravensfort] A&S Classes

I have taught basic hand sewing stuff for beginners, and my "Hard Hats" class (how to make hats that
need hat forms, but you can also use this for bags, modern fabric boxes & frames, and so forth).

I could teach other sewing stuff (basic t-tunic through full-blown Elizabethan), from research to
fabric choice to completed garment; adapting modern patterns for SCA use; making of accessories;
recreating jewelry from portraits; corset fitting & making; raised gilding for illumination; shading for
illumination; calligraphy stuff; planning an original scroll; and probably some other stuff that I can't
think of right now.

I'd like to learn: gold & silversmithing, lapidary stuff, woodworking, and a bunch of other stuff that I
don't have time to do but I think would be cool anyway.

In service,
-Lady Catherine Barbary

and also your participation. What I would like to know is if there are any classes you would like to
attend or something you would like to learn? Or perhaps there is a class in which you would like to
teach. If so please contact me and we will work on it together. I wish to also have a Medieval cooking
class if you would like to come out and share a recipe or learn how to prepare a recipe or just sample
the cooking then come out and join me. I hope to hold my first class on the second Sunday of August
at 12:30pm pending confirmation of place to hold class. Will post more information on day and time
soon. Please contact me if you have any questions or suggestions.
