[Ravensfort] A special thank you!

    To Sir Arevald Kief av Kiersted & Mistress Lorraine Deerslayer & the Populace:
   
  I would like to say thank you openly & honestly for stepping forward as you have done when you were asked to do so by the Crown. Not any easy task for anyone to undertake, but you did out of the love, respect & honor of Your Crown & Your Populace. Though we (personally/publically) may not of always agreed, please know that you have always had my respect, support & love all these many long years. 
   
  Though there have been times of late that many have turned in different directions, you both held steadfast to your duties & guided Raven's Fort through rough times & succeeded in keeping the group together. If anyone expected perfection, they are not of this realm of reality. But I digress...
   
  Now is the time to behold & remember what all of us envisioned many years ago when you, Sir Kief & a few others, spoke of Raven's Fort to someday become a Barony at a time when we were working on becoming an official Shire. Everyone has their own visions of what, where & how to guide a group. Some falter, some succeed. But we each carry on with what we believe to be right for the group at that time. 
   
  Though I will admit I was thinking towards the direction of Raven's Fort becoming a Shire again before we had the December Populace Meeting & Poll done (I know that will never happen, it's the wrong direction), I can now start to feel the energy of hope, gladness & an eagerness to look to the future to see what it will bring that everyone is slowly starting to feel & show as a whole through the populace.
   
  Raven's Fort, you now have a chance to shine as you have uniquely done all these years, but even brighter. We have a opportunity for a new year, with a new beginning, so let's make the best of it we can now. Think constructive, NOT destructive people. Remember & learn, but also move onward, not backward.
   
  I have never seen Raven's Fort as 'bird-brains in the woods' or 'weirdos in the woods', though we have been called these & many other names over the years, well ya know - the old expression of 'sticks & stones...' seems comes to mind (come to think of it, describes the site pretty good though... *grin*)
   
  I wish I had expressed these thoughts & more many years ago; more openly & more often... (they were there, maybe they were just otherwise occupied) I don't know. Well, better late than never. Though I've never been excellent & precise in what I say & my meaning's gets minced, but know that I will continue to support whom & what I believe in my own way & I believe in Raven's Fort.
   
    If I didn't believe in you both Kief & Lorraine, I would not have sworn feality to you as Vicar & Vicaress of Raven's Fort! I have always believed in you as I have always believed in Raven's Fort.
