Hi...

The logic for not holding the event is sound.

Coming off of RM less than 60 days is pretty tuff to fire up and do 
another event.

I would suggest that plans for Defender begin being made and put the 
efforts into Defender rather than the May event.

The two baronial champions can be pushed to Defender. Not too many years 
ago, all of the champs were chosen at Defender.

Right now RF needs to focus on some other things, like unity and membership.

We can do the event. RF has a very tough and "can DO" attitude group of 
folks, but right now, it may not be best to push the envelope right now.

While the wishes of the populace will be taken into account, the final 
choice lays with the officers, Senecahl and B&B.
