Oh, boy, out on a limb here.....   It'd be a lie to say I know anything about Medieval Women doctors.  (...but, with some of the things they do to you after age 40, mind you, I'd rather have a petit woman doctor than a 6'7" All-Star Basketball Player).  :)   

At any rate the topic today falls in line with Ld. Deven's "How to make our warranting classes more interesting by interjecting some history" idea.
