[Ravensfort] the event is here

The wind cooperated, mostly.   We had five people who built  their own kites.  They all flew.  Quite well once balanced,  except for one which committed hara kiri in a puddle, but it did fly  before that.  Water is just not nice to rice paper!  A  mom/son team Maura and Matt won the flying competition.  Theirs  flew the longest and highest and probably could have gotten higher if  they hadn't run out of string.
