[Ravensfort] Service to ones Lord and Kiing

I will check out last October's Quoth. Oh well, I thought it was a good
idea being seven hundred years to the day and all. Perhaps a follow up
article on the theory that many Tempers escaped into Switzerland and
Scotland... or just changed to name of their militant religious sects. ...
or maybe that was covered too.

Fealty is an interesting topic as well.
The burning question I hope will be covered if an issue of the Quoth is
dedicated to fealty is...
When an individual has sworn fealty to a person, place or thing and then
that person, place or thing starts behaving badly and doing evil things...
what do you do about it ???
Do you stand by the person, place or thing and help in the evil deeds...
or do you consider the fealty broken by the person, place or thing due to
the bad behavior ?
Do you stand up and defend family, friends and subjects
or do you stand by and let the person, place or thing harm and lay low ?
Do you stand for righteousness and good
or do you follow the person, place or thing down a prideful road into hell ?
Fealty is indeed a very slippery slope and many words should be spent on it.

Pax,
MARIVS

"what shall it profit a man,
if he shall gain the whole world,
and lose his own soul ?"
