Hint hint taken. I really wanted to go! Though it is a good thing I did not. Gabby is doing well. However, my truck brakes are going out...
I can not wait for the next meeting, and a chance to go out to the Stones!

Yes, I hope that Gabby is up and dancing in her pink boots by now. We missed seeing your whole family. Maybe we will do it again real soon (hint, hint) and you'll get to see for yourself what a magical place The Stones are.

Many thanks to everyone that attended this weekend. There was a very real sense of community that I haven't felt here in quite some time. Different households sharing feast tables, smiling and laughing and enjoying each other's company. It seemed like the Raven's Fort "good ol' days" from long long ago.

Last night after feast I could not find a table decoration that I have used at every feast since I was born into the SCA in 1982. It is a brass crescent moon with human face that stands about six or seven inches tall. I did not see it in the kitchen or storeroom today. If anyone knows it's where abouts I would appreciate your help. C-moon is a very old friend and I would miss it greatly.

Again, thanks to all for a wonderful weekend.

Sorry to hear your daughter is ill. St. Luke's is an excellent hospital, in my opinion. Please let me know how she is doing. I like her alot.

It was a smaller gathering than I expected, but then I call that quality as opposed to quantity. There was some work that was done (beleive it or not!) and that bonfire was beautiful. There was plenty of food and friendship shared by all.

DSD gave a tour of his new log home that is being built. It is ver-ry cool. The pumpkin was lit down at House Pharus were peopled gathered for the light and guitar playing.

Only a couple of children were on site and didn't arrive until much later in the day, so the scavenger hunt was postponed and will be done at Defender.

Hmmm, that's all I can think of. And yes, you were missed.

As it is my daughter is having not only an ear issue (it's bleeding internally) but seems she is starting to wheeze now. So gonna stick around here near St. Lukes (which has Texas Children's within it as well). Hope every one has a great time. Never mind me sniffling in the corner.
