Many heart-felt thanks Alaric.  Your drum class was just the distraction I needed to turn my mind from the wearisome and the mundane to that satisfied feeling I get when I learn something new and creative.  You've once again validated the SCA's nonprofit status and at the same time renewed my faith in SCA kind... or should I say, the kind SCA.  My count was 15 on site.  What a rumpus concord we made.  There's nothing quite like being noisy with friends and loved ones.  I look forward to seeing you again a month from now, on the second Tuesday of November.  Right ??  ... the 13th ??

I also look forward to seeing you... 
and the rest of the Natives Are Restless... 
this Friday night... 
at the Conroe Catfish Festival... 
on the Willie B. stage...

    Wow.  It sounds like we have quite a bit of interest here.  Very nice.

    Looking at how things line up for Tareija and myself, I will most likely need to host this on a Tuesday Night (or a weekend night, which is probably not a good idea for most folks).  So, assuming Tuesday will work for a majority of folks,  we should probably stagger it away from populace (meaning the 2nd or 4th week of the month).  To give Armor's Guild some breathing room, I'm thinking the 2nd week.  So, tentatively, can I get some feedback on having it the 2nd Tuesday of the month?  It would look like this:

    Tuesday, October 9th  @  8 pm
