Sounds like you are having fun!  Take some pictures and show them off when you return.  I had wondered what had happened to you.  Glad to hear all is well and you are enjoying the scenery.

Just wanted to say my two cents about the position open.  Apply when you return.  Just because there is an application, does not mean we only want one person to apply.

Can't wait to hear the stories of your adventures when you return..and I promise not to use the M word!

I really was serious when I mentioned back at populace meeting in March about my offer to take on the exchequer office - an office I have done twice in the past so I know what it entails. Ansteorra's specific rules will be new to me but I've been on the insides of the SCA-wide rules and should take very little time to come up to speed.

The catch is you have to wait for me to get back from Australia first. 
I've been here several weeks now and got held over to stay longer than originally planned which is why it looks like Sean and I disappeared as soon as we appeared...I will be back May the 6th.

I'm cc'ing several individuals with this email since I still don't know 
if my attempts to post to the Ravens Fort list will continue to get caught in moderation and vanish from the face of the earth (when I checked right before I left for Australia, I was still being moderated).

Anyway, I'll be showing back up in a week and a half, can do books 
wells, have the requisite current membership to be an officer, blah blah blah.  See y'all soon.

they treat visitors like royalty here in the Barony of Aneala, since they are 1500 miles to the next nearest big SCA group...it really plays with your headspace thinking about the two day drive to Innilgard...)
