      Our First Guild Together last Sat. was well attended with around 35 people. I saw many guild projects being worked on. Painting, leather work, beading, belt making, fighting, and Alaric twirling a staff  thingy in the front yard. What was that called ? It looked like baton twirling when I was a girl. Everyone was laughing and having fun. We had two newcomer families come and meet us and each other. Much food and drink was had by all. The cobbler was heaven, Devin!  Even swimming was a happening thing!
         I want to thank Alaric and Tareija for hosting us in their home. We probably won't have another until after our event. We want to concentrate now on workdays and projects we are completing to make our event possible.
        I want to congratulate Egan O'Beollain in his appointment to Knight Marshall for Raven's Fort. I also want to say vivat to Charles d Alsace de Cervoisier for his appointment as our new Reeve.  Thanks to both of you for your service to the Barony.  And many thanks to our outgoing officers HE Brian, Knight Marshall, and HE Chrystal , Reeve. You are appreciated in so many ways! 
        We need volunteers to take down the heavy curtains from the Criminal Justice center at SHSU around 5:30pm before Populace Thursday, August 7th. They are being donated to our Barony. It will take several people to get them down as they are heavy. I will send a reminder later. YIS, Giovanna
