I am reminded of a mantra that Nina Hagen once created a song out of:
 
"I now stand alone in the great silence of God, and I am filled with infinite love and peace.  I am one with the One Life of the Universe.  I am an eternal being.  I am one with the source of all love."
 
Kinda reminds me of something that Julian of Norwich wrote that's become a bit of an Anglican mantra:
 
"All is well.  All shall be well.  Every manner of thing shall be well."
 
You and Ivan are heavy in my thoughts this week, Your Excellency.  My father had a quad when he was 65, and he's still getting on my nerves.  Something that the doctors told my mother, my brother, and me, is that bypass surgery is a normal routine for them.  It was scary to us because that was the first time we'd experienced that, but the doctors lose count how many times they are in the operating room.  While we are pacing the carpet threadbare, it's a cakewalk to them.  Reminds me of the first time I flew.  I was a nervous wreck, but others on the plane didn't think anything of it.  Ivan is in good hands.

Just wanted to let everyone know that they had moved up Ivan's heart cath to today.
