[Ravensfort] Guild-Together July 26

The melons are small this year so I will bring two.  I've been getting mine at the Kroger's in conroe.  The solid dark green ones have been sweet and firm without fail.  Yum.  Hot workdays have spawned a juicy moment or two.  Ice cold and wet.

Ok, qualifier... now that I have gone on about what, where and how good, the next shipment may be rotten.  No matter.  I just read that there will be cobbler.  I may bring ice cream too.

        Pizza Run sounds like a good plan.  How much watermelon are you bringing?  I'll bring some chips and salsa and whatever else looks good to me when I go shopping.

        We have a pretty good turnout, thus far.

        I plan on bringing my lucets (still getting the hang of those)..and maybe some small hand sewing projects.

        Can't wait to see everyone there!

          I talked with Alaric about food possibilities.  He did not want anyone ( including himself ) to feel that they had to spend the day in the kitchen, so he would rather make a pizza run than push a pot luck.  With that in mind, the order of the day seems to be Party Snacks, Hors d'oeurves, Finger Food.  I, myself will bring watermelon.  Good for hot weather and fun for the whole family.  He wanted it understood that if you don't want to bring food, you shouldn't feel guilty.

          I have my own guild activates in mind for show and tell.  Some of you old-timers can probably guess what I have up my sleeve.

                  Thanks for posting the reminder..I got lost this month (again..work is killing me!).  I will be there sometime after 3pm.  I am bringing lucet stuff and some garb stuff.

                  Any thoughts for a potluck?  I am currently planning on bringing some veggies..and maybe some meat type product.  Swim suits, huh..looking forward to THAT!!
