Ya'll got me big time.  I blushed so much that my glasses literally fogged up and I couldn't see.  It has been years (too many to remember) since I last blushed... even a minor one.  There were even tears of amazement.  If I had any clue as to what was going to happen I wouldn't have made as many trips around Bordermarch checking things.  My bum knee would have worked properly and I would have been able to kneel in front of Their Majesties.  I still would have needed help up as the only way to get back on my feet by myself is like a 2 year old... rear end up in the air and then the rest of the body follows.

Once the embarrassment was over I realized how much honor had been bestowed upon me.  I joined the SCA because since I was a very young child I've been in love with knights, damsels in distress, swords, bows, all that 'fun' stuff.  The SCA started as a way to 'pretend' but became much more.  I have met many wonderful people in our Barony, people with the ability to inspire a woman with many years under her belt.  

I only hope that I can live up to the faith the Barony has in me.  Thank you again for this great honor.
