I too was at the site for a few minutes... What she said.
The only trees that will have to be moved are the ones in the feast area. I think that we can work around everything else for now. There is much too much to do still for the event. Just not point having all the trees cleaned up and nothing else for the event done.

I have Thursday and Friday off so anyone that can come and help those days will be a god send.
We still have all those things listed on the work weekend post a few days ago as nothing got done this weekend.
Kief has done a great job with the brush-hog so the site still looks pretty good.

On a personal note:
We are living on generators in South County so I will not be checking my emails but once or twice a day. Things aren't too bad. We approached the storm the way we always do, Seafood, Hurricanes (the drink) and satellite TV.
Hope all is well with the rest of our SCA family.

Peace,
Vlod NotVlad

Hello all!I went to the site this afternoon to do a bit of damage check.  So far the site looks pretty good.The kitchen, shed and showers are all fine.  There are several trees down:a small one on the road in which I could move out of the way2 small pines by the kitchen ( didn't hurt anything)1 large by the road by the showers ( road not blocked and showers OK)Dreaming tree is still half down1 large branch across the road that I couldn't move ( too many small branches trying to be one with the ground for me to move by myself)1 large tree by the EX rose garden( no impacts on any of the nearby campgrounds)Mead Hall OkSwein Is Ok except for a very small treeMalcolm's camp is OK1 large oak down towards the bonfire1 large tree by Olivia's old camp1 large oak by the 'burbsthe ground is all nasty gumbo, even going slow in 4wheel drive I skated across the mud.  So no good for small cars, Zork's would not have made it!And that's all I could see on my quick trip!KitsunePS: from Zork: SHSU is closed through wednesday.  They will look at the situation on Tuesday and make further decisions from there.Everybody be safe and we'll see you soon!;
