Just my opinion, but I think you should talk to TRM before you make a decision.  I'll try to get those Royal Huntsmen people you mentioned to call you.  They do not have email access yet...can you send me a phone # privately?

I am thinking the same way Zorc is.
For some, getting away to a place that they are suppose to camp and have a little fun and games would be a break.  Others will not be able to attend no matter what.  I personally would like to give the people that can get away someplace to go.
Also, we would have a chance to at least break even.  Not everyone is from Stargate and the Loch.
I have been in contact with two representatives of the Crown over the last few weeks, but I have not heard from them in the last two days.  Since I have heard nothing, I assume they still plan to attend.
The Royal Huntsmen people have not returned my emails since before Pennsic so who knows what they are doing.  It will be a surprise to me no matter what it is.
I HAVE to get the water pump to fill barrels.
We HAVE to go to the store room and sort out the kitchen and event stuff.
We do have some catching up to do, but I think we should give it a try.

Has anyone heard from the Baron, Baroness or Seneschal yet ?  It seems like they should have checked in by now.  Maybe people that live near should do a recon expedition ???

Peace,
Vlod NotVlad

We still have an 8:oopm curfew in Huntsville which makes going to a meeting in Conroe at 7pm (which gives us, what, all of 30 minutes?) seem rather pointless....
However we do need to assess whether or not we can still hold the event.
I know that the site can be ready but I'm not sure that we will have enough attendees to even come close to not going completely broke.  I know that all of us here in Raven's Fort really would like the break from the storm but I believe that all of our southern and eastern friends will be very busy trying to recover from the storm, that is if they even have power by the weekend!
Not looking too good right now...
Zork says that there's not much difference in camping at home and the site aside from the MUD ( and running water at home).  Zork also says that he would love to share his brews with the event attendees ( those of age) but we're not even sure that we'll have ice by then.
Has anyone heard from their Majesties to see how they are doing and if they still intend to try to make event?
And do we still have a Pel circle and Royal Huntsman?
I know it's a lot of questions but I feel that we need to address them ASAP.
Hoping everybody is OK,
Kitsune, doomsayer...
