[Ravensfort] Yule date still the same....but...justsomethoughts.....

Populace is coming up next week.  Think everyone should have their pros/cons-suggestions ready.  The date should not be changed, it has been set for about 2 months (assuming I remember correctly).  Giovanna had to go out of the country on a medical emergency with her son.  She will not be back in time for Populace.  Giovanna and Pace are going to Pennsylvania to visit his parents.  I think she said they would be back the weekend before Yule.  As she is out of the country right now and will not be here for Populace it is going to have to be a wing it type thing.  I can't remember if she said Pace is going to be at Populace.  I will try to call him and double check on their trip to PA.  So now everyone knows as much as I do and probably more.

  I believe we should stick with our current plan... not only to be less confusing but to keep our attendance up.  I've already seen a few "dibs" on rooms and the like and would hate to lose folks that don't feel like camping.  Also, there's a lot of cooking going on at Yule and we need ovens / stoves.

  Yule is the same date, we are not changing it.  I have had a thought or two about it though considering the venue and the competing stargate yule.....
  Just throwing it out there, since its awful close to Crown Tourney date, not to say that our hosts havent been gracious enough to put their place up in the past, but what if we had a camp weekend at the new site for Yule??  Its a bit more centrally located for all members of the barony, we can have Yule for us on Sunday maybe??  If folks need a place to stay I know that there are plenty of places around the site to come home to for the night....just a suggestion to see if I can get anyone else's brains working the same direction....dunno just a thought.
