  We are only days away from the big day!  If you are receiving this email, you are a contact for a booth entry for the City’s 175th Birthday on July 12!  If you are receiving this email in error, please respond as soon as possible.  If you are also involved with a parade entry, you should have received a separate email on Monday, July 5.  Here’s what you need to know:



  1)      Before Monday, July 12th, please view the attached list to find your location number.

  2)      When you arrive at the Square, Please Check In at the City of Huntsville booth in the middle of 12th Street by the Gazebo.  Please!

  3)      On Monday, July 12th, booth set -up will begin NO EARLIER THAN 4pm (unless you have been specifically notified otherwise).  Street closures will begin at 3pm, and we need to be able to move cars out of the Square area first.

  4)      Please remember we are only supplying space.  You need to have a tent that will stand in the street, not stake in the ground.  You will need to bring any chairs, tables, etc. you need.  You will need to take everything will you when you leave at 8pm.

  5)      Electricity and water are not available unless you have made specific prior arrangements with us.  Booths will NOT be permitted to run cords or hoses in the streets.





  Deputy City Secretary Kristin Edwards will be the Square Manager for the event.  Her cell number the day of the event will be 832-465-1771.  There will be volunteers at the City of Huntsville booth in the middle of 12th Street between the Gazebo & Fabric Carousel.  Please help them out by responding carefully and quickly.  



  Huntsville Police Dept. and the University Police Dept. will be working throughout the area.  Please help them keep everyone safe by following their instructions.



  We are looking forward to a great event!  Please do not hesitate to contact our office with any questions.
