If there is anything that I can do, no matter how large or how seemingly
small, please let me know and I will get it done.  I actually live fairly
close to Doug & Marie, so that might be a help.  Having been out of town for
the last week, this has come a quite a shockeroo to say the least.  Charles,
if you can keep us informed, that would be a really big help.  Please let us
know what they need, ok?

Awful news.  I read about it in the Courier today.... several posters have
already left their condolences.
The paper (and people posting) commented heavily on the loss of not only a
home, but literally decades of art being damaged or destroyed.
Be sure Doug and Ann Marie know that we have plenty of room here.
We also have a painting (from one of her students) we can donate.

Unto the list,

                Last night Vlad not Vlad's house burned.  Not to the ground,
but close enough.  Some of the art was saved, a few memories made it out,
but for the most part everything else is a loss.  He and Ann Marie are fine.


 

Luckly Ann Marie was home when it started but due to water problems the fire
department took an extra hour to get water on the flames.  They don't know
when they will be allowed back on the property, nor where they will land
while the house is being rebuilt.  Should you need to contact him please
direct your request through Dom or myself.
