AM just bought a copy for $99 with her teacher discount.
Surely a non-profit educational organization will get a discount as well.

However open office is not compatible with Adobe. I had to learn that the hard way!

OK geek in me coming out....

Open office is a free open source software component that is JUST LIKE WINDOWS!! you can get it free online, just google open office. They have writers, spreadsheets, power points etc, all that JUST LIKE WINDOWS!! catch? ITS FREE!! and not only that but...TOTALLY COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS.

Devin, i'm surprised that even with open office if you get windows documents you cant open them. I can...I run open office on my lappy and can open up all the spreadsheets I need....

          Cheers!
          Mirabelis
