Subject: [Ravensfort] Riddle me this

In my research I have found that the people in my trade would make up riddles to 
remember the knowledge they had learned, and also to help teach others. So in 
keeping with my trade I have formed this riddle to share and ponder.

I am the child of a fiery young man who married maiden of purest argent,
Then when they laid in the fires of passion,
I was born. What am I?
