Gwen verch Cynwrig de Ynys Mon


 This past weekend my dear wife Rosalia and I had the honor to travel to the
Barony of Elfsea to witness the Coronation of Lochlan Dunn and Gwen verch
Cynwrig de Ynys Mon as the newest King and Queen of Ansteorra. We arrived in
the Barony of the Steppes on the Friday night, having been invited to stay
the night with Pan Konrad Novak and his wife Bantiarna Katerina O'Cyry, and
their wonderful children. On Saturday we all rose with the sun, after
putting coffee in to our bodies to help in waking up for the day. We headed
out stopping at a Scottish restaurant for breakfast. Once at the coronation
hall we were joined by H.E. Baronessa Giovanna Caronna and Herr Detlef von
Marburg. We also had time to share fellowship with H.E. Baron Philippe Le
Chanceux and H.E. Baronne Suzanne Beraud Baron and Baronne of Bjornsborg. I
also had time to speak with Doamnâ Elisava Iliesca on research into the
pigment arts. It was nice to see and talk to these fine people of our
kingdom.


 Pan Konrad entered into the Kings Champion list and did very well, but alas
he would not be the King's Champion on that day. It should be noted Pan
Konrad's daughter did win the list in her age group on the youth list field
that day. Bantiarna Katerina was most generous in that she freely gave to
H.E. Baronessa Giovanna snacks to munch on during the day.


 After the fighting for the day had ended The last court of Their Stellar
Majesties Ulsted the Unsteady V and Ebergardis von Zell III started, the
court was a stunning display of grace and dignity. It was a sight to behold.



 The step up of Their Stellar Majesties Lochlan Dunn and Gwen verch Cynwrig
de Ynys Mon was a sight to see, It will be a memory that I will hold dear to
my heart for many years to come. This event was something that the also
blessed with wonderful weather.


 During the feast H.E. Baron Philippe came to our table, he took the time to
visit with each of us and was a great joy to have in our company. Humor and
kindness of that kind, is something that makes traveling to events something
I look forward and makes one want to travel out to explore the greatness
that is Ansteorra.


 As the event was coming to a close, His Majesty Lochlan came out and spent
time with some of the landed nobles in which H.E. Baronessa Giovanna was a
part of, and from point of view it looked that His Majesty was having a good
time in fellowship with his landed nobles. I also feel the need to say that
Her Majesty Gwen had Pan Konrad turn and bow to his king while His Majesty
while he was in fellowship with the landed nobles. Pan Konrad was wearing
proper Polish split hose....I'll let the rest up to your imagination.


 In closing I have to say that it was a wonderful event .
