Shadowlands Fall Ball in the Small Hall IV: Bakers’ Bransle, January 28th, 2012

Howdy! (as the local folks like to say) Shadowlands is opening its doors for a day of fun and would love to see as many Ansteorrans in attendance as possible so please spread to your local list or a list that may be interested in our activities.



This year the Shadowlands is proud to host many classes, the Herbalist Guild Meeting for Gate’s Edge, tournaments, and afternoon War Practice! Feast for this event will be a Potluck led by Lady Isolde.



Site Fee is $5 with no NMS so bring out your friends



Schedule:

10:00am: Gate Opens

10:30am: Bread Baking class taught by Isolde

                      Inspections begin for Rapier and Chivalric Fighters                  

11:30am: Chronicler class taught by Delphina de Champeaux

                      ~Tournaments begin

Noon:      Calligraphy class taught by Thomas at Woode

 1:00pm:  Dance Refresher taught by Llywelyn and Thomas at Woode

 2:30pm:  Gingerbread Baking class taught by Isabelot de Forens

                      ~War Practice Begins

 4:30pm:  Gate’s Edge Herbalist Guild Meeting led by Mistress Annes

 5:30pm:  Feast Opens

 6:30pm:  Shire Business

 7:00pm:  Dancing Begins

10:00pm: Site Closes



Directions from 6N/US-190 W:
Turn left onto W Brenken St (at the McDonalds)
Take the 2nd right onto Cedar St.
Take the 1st right onto W Brown St (Business 79 to the left; FM 391 to
the right). Take the overpass and drive 0.7 mi.
Turn left onto Norwood Ln ; drive 0.3 mi.
Take the 1st right onto Golf Course St into Eastside Park.
Follow the road .1 miles past the pool/playground to the Clubhouse building.

Directions from 190E: 
In Hearne after overpass,
Turn left onto Norwood Ln ; drive 0.3 mi.
Take the 1st right onto Golf Course St into Eastside Park.
Follow the road .1 miles past the pool/playground to the Clubhouse building.
