> Greetings to all, there is news from War.
> Although heavily outnumbered, our warriors, artisans and volunteers battled with the fierceness that is in every Ansteorran soul.
> On the field, our fighters were at times outnumbered not just two but often three or more to one. Their Majesties were graced with victories in A&S and the field and castle battles. Our honorable Rapiers out numbered ~92 to 224, took their ravine battle to a final best of three contests, as did the Archers in their contest. Both the Rapiers and Archers lost their war points. The combined Heavy and Archer resurrection ravine battle was lost by ten seconds. I am not clear concerning the bridge and town battles.
> Raven's Fort was present in the thick of the fighting. General Michael, myself , Caleb the Insane, along with Sir Kief and his Thunder sisters Ayla and Cheer fought until wounded or the battles end. A wound I took in the field battle (I killed the heavy with my arrow as his blade numbed my shoulder and bow arm. Basically we killed each other at the same time). After the field battle, King Aaron called all to his presence. HM said that we were all heroes, as we overcame such great numbers and won the day. His speech was touching and inspiring.
> HE Brian not only made it possible for many of us to take the field but Marshaled and water beared, as an old wound kept him from dealing death. Herr Detlef could be seen heralding and volunteering as a water bearer and singing with the Bards of many Kingdoms as well as assisting HE Giovanna and myself. Maribelis was present assisting with the equestrians. HE Giovanna assisted by aiding water bearing as much as her wounded knee allowed.
> Our Baronial camp was small but quiet and dark at night. We were surrounded by our cousins and their families. Drumming from afar and laughter lulled us to sleep every night.
> The shopping was as usual awesome and the Known World Party was wonderful with music, the sharing of drink and dancing.
> We encourage others who may be so inclined to share their stories of war with the Barony.
